Jorge-A. Sanchez-P. is a key contributor to the Greek innovation ecosystem. He is co-founder and CSFO at Corallia and co-founder of a technology and innovation management consulting company JNP. He is the Chairman of the Board of the si-Cluster, a member of the Board of the mi-Cluster, the egg-enter.go.grow accelerator, the students’ exchange program EduTrip, co-founder of the incubators α1/2•innohub and π1•innohub and coordinator of various hackathons and start-up weekends in Greece and has supported more than 300 business plans to take-off. He has been a research associate and consultant at various academic institutes and enterprises, a scientific consultant to AT&T Bell Labs in the USA, a system architect at Lucent Technologies in the Netherlands, and Technical Manager of the CST Group of Bell Labs EMEA and regionals networks manager at GRNET. He has served as a consultant for the EC, Governments, the European ICT Association, TERENA and various telecom companies and VCs. He has served in the Board of CEENet and AIZ and was a founding member of eIRG. He was the Greek National Expert on Research Infrastructures for FP6, the National Representative at the European Clusters Alliance, at the Computing and Data Treatment Group of ESFRI. He holds Dipl.-Ing. & Dr.-Ing. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Master’s Certification in Professional Program & Project Management. Jorge was born in Bogota, Colombia. He is married with Christina and has two kids, Alex and Anna. He is a member of the Piraeus Sailing Club and the ACE Tennis Club.
