Apostolos is a serial entrepreneur turned investor. He started his career at Boston Consulting Group and then he jumped on the entrepreneurial path. He was co-founder of e-shop.gr, e-food.gr (sold to Delivery Hero) and Doctoranytime (active in Greece and Belgium) Apostolos was an early investor in Taxibeat and remained as a member of the board until the sale of the company to Daimler in 2017. Since 2011 he has invested and supported many startups with a focus on e-marketplaces and SaaS. Some examples of companies he has been involved with in Greece are E-table, Nannuka, Douleutaras, Spotawheel, Blueground, Funkmartini. Internationally he has supported startups in Europe and the US including Spotahome, booksy, Shift, Nurx , Cardflight and other.
Since 2016 he has been the co-founder and partner of VentureFriends which is a Venture Capital fund that has raised 70mil euros through 2 funds and has invested in 22 promising startups 15 of which are based in Greece.
Apostolos has studied civil engineering at NTUA and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
